Oscar Nominations & Upcoming Presentations

It’s Oscar season already! There have been a number of memorable films and performances as the film industry eases into a world that has been changed massively due to the pandemic. Whether it’s through streaming a movie from the comfort of home or enjoying some time in the movie theater, audiences have the opportunity to view new and revisited films, with some of these films now being Oscar-contenders.

Dr. Annette Bochenek of Chicago, Illinois, is an avid scholar of Hollywood’s Golden Age. She manages the Hometowns to Hollywood blog, in which she writes about her trips exploring the legacies and hometowns of Golden Age stars.
