Betty White was a beloved comedian and humanitarian, whose legacy continues to be celebrated today by fans all over the world. In honor of what would have been White’s centennial, I was delighted to be a part of a special Hollywood Kitchen tribute to her.
In this episode of Hollywood Kitchen, various fans of White chimed in with recipes inspired by White as well as her on-screen career. I spoke about attending her Oak Park, Illinois, hometown centennial tribute, in addition to making White’s applesauce loaf.
This recipe came from the days during which White partnered with Fisher’s Blend Flour. It was extremely easy to make and yielded a flavorful applesauce-raisin loaf.
