Greta Garbo’s Swedish Meatballs

In preparation for the Academy Awards ceremony honoring the films of 2020, I was excited to be invited back on to a very special episode of Karie Bible’s Hollywood Kitchen. This time, she coordinated an Oscar Cook-Along, featuring a variety of guests and recipes from Hollywood stars with a tie to the Oscars.

As part of my contribution, I was delighted to take on the challenge of recreating Greta Garbo’s Swedish Meatballs. While Garbo was not an Oscar winner, she was nominated on three occasions and eventually received an honorary award from the Academy. Always true to her Swedish roots, this delicious recipe is a fine tribute to Garbo and her heritage.
