In Summer 2025, I was delighted to visit the Gail Borden Public Library’s exhibition entitled “Glitz-Glamour-Gorgeous: A Tribute to Hollywood Movie Costumes.” This exhibit showcased costumes from the collection of Greg Schreiner on display at the library in Elgin, Illinois. The exhibit included 33 screen-worn costumes. I am thrilled to share some photographs of the costumes, specifically focusing on ones with stronger ties to Hollywood’s Golden Age.
