Cesar Romero

Cesar Romero was an American actor who proved versatile through his performances as a Latin lover and, most famously, as the Joker on the 1960s Batman television series. He performed in films, on the radio, and on television for roughly 60 years.

Samual Garza Bernstein’s Cesar Romero: The Joker is Wild tells the story of Romero’s life and career in addition to offering substantial information about his roles and projects. Romero’s work ethic comes through in this book, highlighting his determination to constantly have projects lined up to challenge him and continue his career. Bernstein also succeeds in showcasing how malleable Romero could be, from easily performing in dramas and comedies long before his iconic role.
