The Real Bogie & Bacall

Bogie & Bacall’s relationship is one of classic Hollywood’s storied romances, of course referring to the relationship between Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall. While they were quite accomplished as individual actors, they were also lauded as a notable on-screen (and off-screen) couple.

Catherine Curzon’s The Real Bogie & Bacall focuses more so on their lives and interests off-screen, offering an interesting portrayal of Bogie and Bacall in “real life.” Filled to the brim with inviting prose, fascinating anecdotes, and intriguing photographs, Curzon’s book is a fitting tribute to one of classic Hollywood’s most famous couples.

I highly recommend this book to fans of Bogie & Bacall’s films and those interested in their lives off-screen.

The Real Bogie & Bacall is available for purchase via Pen and Sword.
